No it is great to require it before moving things to a sexual level, however as part of the deal you should offer to have a test done also, this will show your potential partner there is nothing to be worried about! Lastly, I would go for the full boat of testing, HIV can eventually kill you (when it progresses to AIDS), but other STD's can make life miserable too, and eventually cause problems including but not limited to sterility & death. Good for you both! Have fun, explore, and play "Safe"

You are very smart to ask him and you offer to take one too and both take an HIV test. If you really have not know him well and he is seeing other always use a condom...safe sex will keep you alive

properly, i extremely hate it even as human beings smoke, so if I study that about someone i could doubtlessly be attracted to, it truthfully turns me off, as well as different addictions of the type, like alcohol or drugs. and also, not having the skill to participate in knowledgeable and smart conversations is a diverse turn off. someone who's extra nervous about textile possessions is likewise a turn off for me....yet those are not complete deal breakers. an entire deal breaker will be a mooch, a pathologic liar/cheater, or someone who's too ignorant and closed minded.

If he cares about you he will. If you care about yourself you will have one as well. Depends how long you have been together, if he is seriously into you or not. Have a HIV test as well as screened for STDs.

Absolutely not! Thats one of the best things a person could do. As a matter of fact, people should have their partners be checked for all STDs.

Heck no! Can't be too careful these days. You never know who's walking around with some sort of crotch critters and don't even know they have something. If he refuses to do it, then he's either got something and doesn't want you to know, or he's just scared and doesn't respect your health and safety, therefore making him unworthy of you anyway. Good question!

No in this day and age you cant be too careful. Even if you've know your lover all his life I would still ask. Even careful people get it. You trust you lover but you dont have to trust the people he was with before you. He might know he was exposed. So with you. Offer to take one in exchange.

you should ask him.this way you know your safe and so does he.if you dont ask and he gives it to you,he might think your the one who gave it to him.But use condoms because it could take a while to show up.And you never know if he may cheat.Everyone must take their life into thier own hands and not rely on the other person to be safe you look out for yourself.

Absolutely not. And be sure and use a condom as well because it and all the other "its" can be caught after those test results come in.
