Is it in the drywall, or what? You may need a new roof. If it's in the basement, it's easy enough to fix with bleach. Bleach kills mold. Every house has SOME mold in it, but too much is another issue. Do your children have breathing problems or mold allergies? My children were in the hospital several times this winter, but after having my air ducts cleaned and sanitized in the spring (it only cost me $300), they had no problems.

Insurance does not cover most molds. You must do some serious cleaning with bleach water mixture. Keep the house from getting any more water in it. Buy a de-humidifier to help keep the water out of the air in the house.
Mold can trigger an asthma attack.

They can be allergic to the mold, and if its that dangerous mold, then yes, it can be dangerous. U have to find out where it is coming from first, then call a professionial . i am not sure what they do.
