It sounds like you have diabetes and the only thing that will stop the tingling is to get treated and to stop eating so much sugar, as for what counteracts sugar I don't think anything does but drink lots of water
And do try Stevia it's all natural and doesn't cause cancer or contain sugar

Some veggies are very high in sugar so be very careful.
The tingling is the damage that is being done to your nerve endings due to high BS the only way to prevent this is to control your BS. If you overeat you must take more insulin. If you continue to over eat the doctor will have to put you on insulin or up your bolus dose (if your not already on it)
PLEASE take it from a type 1 diabetic try to stay on the pills and not get on the insulin injections if at all possible.
You can control your self once the blood sugars are under control. Its not really your fault until then, the BS will make you more hungry and you will want to eat more but getting under control is a total must.
Good Luck.

I'm pretty sure that a diabetic sugar level has to be over 200 if you're NOT fasting. If you are fasting, then it should be under 100. So 171 is acceptable, but check with a doctor to be sure.

Don't assume someone is diabetic. I'm not diabetic and yet I get this when I eat too much sugar. For example, birthday cake and snacking on the frosting.

I only had a small piece of cake. I don't think I'm diabetic, but after eating the cake I noticed my feet was stinging more. Painful

Stop eating sugar. Try Splenda or Stevia. They are healthier.
