I am able to get it at an All Natural grocery store. You should also try health food stores.

Nori is eaten in Japan almost everyday, from breakfast time to late night snacks. Nori is usually eaten with rice. For Sushi, rice is rolled with the nori and with a variety of vegetables and fish.

Nori seaweed is high in fibre, vitamins, protein and minerals. Nori seaweed provides calcium and iron and contains other important trace minerals. Nori is traditionally eaten to strengthen the circulatory system and help lower cholesterol.

I believe it's called "nori" ... at least that's what they call it in the Japanese sushi bars. At any rate, it's pretty easy to find ... even in regular grocery stores. I live in the "back-woods" of Oklahoma, and our local Wal-Mart Superstore sells it. (It's in the section that sells Oriental food items.) As to why it makes you feel so good, I have no idea ... unless it's "all-in-your-head". I love the stuff, but I never noticed it having any euphoric qualities!

You can find something like this in pretty much any Asian grocery store. Ask for Nori or dried seaweed.

In Korea, it's called Gim, in Japanese, it's nori.

Korean gim is really good, they sell it in large sheets and "snack packs". If you don't have a local Korean store, (look for names like Hyundai or Korea market or Seoul market or Kim's market, something of the like to alert you to a Korean store), then here's websites that sells Korean grocery:

Hope that helps~!

If Wa is Washington state, Uwajimaya in Seattle or Bellevue is a great store. If your city has a Chinese grocery store, you can buy it there. I usually use it to wrap rice with, but I've seen it sold in packets as a snack. Japanese groceries have it too, but its usually easier to find Chinese grocery shops.

Darn near any Asian grocery store will have it. If you buy it "raw", then it needs to be "toasted" - brush it with vegetable oil on both sides and then toast it...then sprinkle with salt.

But check the frozen section - they probably have it all prepared already and in individual serving sizes.
