4 days ago I went to a massage parlor and the lady put a condom on me but when it was inserted on her, I limped and not getting hard so she took it off and gave me oral sex. I feel so tired and sleepy at night and I feel kinda thirsty and dry lips and mouth, could it be a symptom that I have hiv or im just being paranoid thinking that I might have one? I was taking ciprofluxacin because for 7 days in between the oral sex had happened? Could it be just the medication, I just finished my medication last night. Help me out pls!

Is this what they do at massage parlours? Anyway studies show that there is not a big chance of acquiring HIV from oral sex as compared to the penetrative sex. However when one is exposed to HIV (in ur case sex) it takes them atleast 6 weeks to seroconvert so having an HIV test immediately afer the incidence may nt reveal anything (assuming u were negative before exposure). During seroconversion ie when changing from neg to positive one acquires a flue like syndrome, enlarged lymphnodes and general weekness. U symptoms dont sound anything like this and its really too early to start these symptoms. So u should not be scared. However the only way to find out u have HIV would be to have an HIV test. after this initial test, they will advise u to come back again, in my country it is after 3 months. This could vary from country to country dependig on the method of testing they use

The risk of getting HIV from oral sex is real, yet minimal. She runs a higher risk than you of contracting it this way (the mouth is an excellent receptor i.e any break or bleed in the gums). With HIV, you do not feel symptoms that immediately - it can take years for symptoms to manifest to that level. As a matter of safety, anytime that you have any kind of unprotected sex, you should have an AIDS test performed. This can be done at your doctor's or through the county health system where you live if you are in the US. Do ask how effective the test is that they are using with early diagnosis. Some tests work better for early infection than others. Most medical practitioners will ask when the unprotected or high risk episode occurred and will recommend subsequent re-tests based on the time-line.

It has never been proven that HIV is transfered through oral sex. Also, I doubt that you would develop any symptoms of HIV in 4 days. If you are really worried, go to your doctor or the health department and get tested.

It's a side effect of the medicine. Give it a few days to get out of your system and you'll feel better. HIV gives flu like symtoms if I remember right?

HIV is ONLY spread through blood to blood contact or mucus membranes (i.e. your genitals.) So unless the masseuse had infected blood on her hands, there isn't any risk you could have gotten the disease. However if she had vaginal fluid on her hands, it is possible that you could be infected. But if you were only touched by massage oil you are fine.

Go to a clinic for a test, take it as a wake up call and don't go to massage parlors anymore

Yes, absolutely you are doomed. You should have not allowed her to remove the condom and instead told her to be contended with your balls.
