Could be a urinary tract infection, or kidney infection or maybe a nasty bladder infection. Go see your doctor.

When you say side, do you mean the flank? Stinging pain upon urination with pain at the side could mean that a lower urinary tract infection has probably reached the kidney. Have yourself checked right away, it is urgent to have it managed properly.

sounds like you have clamydia or some other sort of sexually transmitted infection. Get it checked out immediately before you pass it on.
