Yes, it's possible to get a boil 'down there'.

A boil is an inflamed, pus-filled area of the skin usually caused by a bacterial infection.

Boils commonly appear as infected hair follicles, and are usually found on the back of the neck and in the armpit, groin, and other moist areas. A boil appears initially as a red, painful lump which eventually swells, fills with pus, and has a yellowish tip.

Applying hot compresses on the affected area to reduce discomfort and promote healing.

You should avoid bursting a boil on your own as this could spread the infection.

It's a boil. That is what it is. There are several things that can cause these. (Of course I cannot SEE yours, but from what you are saying, I think I have a pretty good idea about what it is.) Either an infected hair folicle or a pimple. You said that you are sexually active, although with one person whom is also sexually active, but only with you. Therefore, there shouldn't be any STDs unless one or both parties are unfaithful. But let's throw that thought out the window for the moment. It's a puss filled, red, probably aching hurting boil, correct? There is some yellowish, possibly greenish goo coming out of it? Do yourself a favour. Don't touch it. don't squeeze it. That is only going to make matters worse. If you have some sea salts, make yourself a warm bath and climb in (unless you are pregnant or have several other conditions that would not allow you to get in warm salty water). Then go see your doctor. He/she will perscribe you some antibiotics(usually Keflex, unless you are allergic to that).
Good luck, and remember this is normal. It's your pubic area...they are caused by moisture and rubbing. Both of those happen in that area.

yes it is possible to get a boil down there. Sweat and dirt can clog any pore on any part of ur body. If it does not clear up tho u should see a doc. Warm compress to bring it to a head an relive pressure helps.

You're cool. If you have both been with only each other then it is just a very bad ingrown hair. It hurts but when it comes to a head pop it and it'll go away. A tiny bit of peroxide will help dry it up as well.

Go see a doctor. Are you 100% sure your friend has only been w/you? Just bcuz he was a virgin doesn't mean he hasn't been w/anyone else besides you for the past two years.

The best thing to do is to see your doctor. If it is or isn't a boil, your doctor will be able to help you.
