You can live quite a long time as long as HIV doesn't turn into full blown AIDS. With the new (and expensive) drugs they have out no telling. Could be 10 or 50 years. Just depends on the case and person.

Someone who is is HIV positive may have 10 years to live (give or take a year or 2)...until (if or when) it becomes full blown AIDS & in that case, a cold could kill you.

It depends on how long you have had it and if you are taking medications now. People are still surviving without full blown aids for 12-15 years and more.

Not sure, but Magic Johnson seems to be doing okay after 14 years. Medicine keeps making advances, too.

Even a doctor cannot accurately tell you. Some , whom doctors have given up for dead, are still alive and kicking after many many years.

i can say it depend on his life ,i mean his life standard .if he is in good situation his life time will be long.but if his economic life is less the sickness will be hard on him/her.also if the patient get enough treatment his life will be longer.also his cd4 taste if it is show good level also he will live long life .
