it is delicious if you cook it the right way. look for some recipes online. my three year old likes it better than chicken. and it's really healthy.

Tofu is very bland. The only way I like it is on these little cracker things, I forget what they are called but it's a Korean dish.
Other than that, it's a very bland food. Not much taste to it at all. And for those who say "if it's cooked right" most of those "good cooking" ways make me sick because the flavor or the Tofu does not match the spices and method of cooking.

Tofu is like a sponge, it soaks up flavors but reallyh only if you cook it right. Frying it is good because it adds texture. Freezing it prior to use is nice because it gets a totally different texture that is meatier and reallt soaks up flavors.
Some who think tofu is gross actually use silken which is meant more for desserts or frying than anything else.

I love tofu and i am by no means a vegetarian! Tofu sucks up the flavor of anything you put it in. I love it in stir-frys and tofu dogs are so much better than hot dogs and much healthier!

tofu in its raw form is difficult to use. you really have to think out of the box to really make it into something wonderful. My family has based a business on using tofu to replace dairy, eggs, mayo, etc... to create wonderful sauces that are thick like traditional ones and incredibly low in fat and calories. We aren't vegan or even vegetarian, but there's no point in eating empty calories. The trick with tofu is to remember it is bland. You have to INFUSE lots of flavors into it.

Tofu is processed soy product. It is supposedly good for you, depending on your tastes. I think tofu anything tastes nasty.
People who eat things like tofu and exclude all meat from their diet, aren't getting proper nutrition. There's only so much protein you can get from plant matter.
A balanced diet is the best way to good nutrition.

i love tofu. i eat it often. The reason why people don't like tofu is they don't eat it right. what i mean is, if you put it in a salad or just eat it plain, it doesn't taste good. I recommend just frying it on the stove and eating it with rice and soysauce. You can make fried rice with only rice, tofu and soysauce.
