If you buy the pre-washed kind, take it out of the plastic bag, wrap it in papertowels or handy-wipes to absorb the water on the leaves. Wrap it again in a dry towel and store it in a plastic bag that you can seal. It should keep for at least a week.

If you buy it fresh and unwashed, wash it very well and wrap it as described above.

pile loosely in a ziploc, try not to handle it too much or it will bruise. When storing in the fridge do not place items on top of the bags.
