its best to fry the chicken to seal it and half cook it first to make sure it cooks, otherwise you have to steam the rice forages to make sure and risk burning it...thats if its peices

In the rice cooker, add some oil, fry some garlic and ginger, and add boiled, cut, skinless chicken breasts in it for a few minutes, then add 5 cups uncooked rice. Stir in 4-5 cups of chicken broth.

well.. tis is our portugese style of chix rice.. try it out.
pour 2 tbsp of oil in d cooker, den.. stir in onion, garlic & ginger tat u oredi blend, den water den salt 2 taste, oso... some chix neck, legs or meat, boil it till tender, lastly pour in d rice.. cook as usual...
