Bribe them. LOL. Or if they're gullible, you can tell them a "legend" on a certain veggie, like "there is a magical broccoli, and if you eat it, you will get one wish. But you have to find it by eating it".

Make and "Irish" soup (only because it's going to be green in color), puree the greens in the soup (puree the onions with them, very few children will willingly eat onion chunks) and float some cooked potato chunks in the finished product so the potatoes are the only whole vegetables. Also, cream of broccoli soup- (I notice you are on the vegetarian page so you can make it soy based instead of dairy if that helps). Use too much broccoli and use lots of potatoes. The key to broccoli is to only cook it until it is bright green and fork tender-any further and it gets gray-green and "icky."

My picky picky grandson wants sweets every day. I will make him eat at least half of the veggies on his plate before he gets any sweets for the whole day. He is actually eating spinach and broccoli now without bribes. He doesn't like cheese on the broccoli and that one stumped me for a while because that is how I got the others to eat it. He would live on peanut butter, mac and cheese and milk and chocolate if he had his way!

We have a sticker chart. Every time my daughter tries a reasonable portion of something new she gets a sticker, and we write underneath what she ate and when. Every now and then I go through the list and tell her how proud I was when she ate the items (mostly veg). A lot of the things she wouldn't even try are now on her favourites list.

My wife is a teacher and she works with younger kids but the way she gets them to eat veggies is with dips. You can offer some veggie dips or cheese with greens and veggies. Also try making lettuce wraps. Take something they like and offer lettuce for them to wrap it in. Use romain not iceberg because it's better for you.

Most kid prefer meat. So when u cook any dish, include some greens in them. Infact, whatever u cook, put veggies in it. That way the greens would seem more appealing to them.

You can mix them into a meat loaf or hamburger. Chop very fine, of course.
