No because shrimp was a live animal with meat. Vegetarians can only eat food that wasn't alive, I mean like an animal and since shrimp and crabs were animals, the answer is no.

Of course not. Seafood are animals from the sea and vegetarians do not eat animals. I really suggest you get a beginner book regarding vegetarianism. If you are a teenager, there is a great book called "Vegetables Rock!"

Nothing that has a face. some vegetarians eat dairy, eggs and fish. Vegans never eat any thing that has a face or the product of something with a face. Depends how far, how fast you want to go.

Vegetarian should not eat any moving lving being. So sea food is not vegetarianism. We should keep the ideal of elephant before us. He is extra ordinary brilliant and equally powerful animal. He eats only fruits, leaves and grass. Nothing else.

A vegetarian eats only vegetables , nothing that has internal organs , a brain , or that reproduces so , sea food is out . Unless you want that fake stuff they sell , or sea weed .

Chinese consider sea food as part of vegetarian. But some Indians do not even eat mushrooms since that's essentially fungus. On flights if you specify Asian vegetarian, they may serve you sea food, but not when you say Indian vegetarian.

Technically no because these creatures were alive. But wouldn't you like to create your own diet rather than follow someone else's rules? I am a vegetarian most of the time but I will eat fish or seafood on occasion if I feel I need protein, vitamin B12 or niacin. My body tells me when I need it and it isn't often. listen to your body.

No. There isn't any type of vegetarian that eats seafood. Being vegetarian means not consuming meat, poultry or fish or their by-products.

Some vegetarians may eat eggs and dairy and would be considered ovo-lacto vegetarian or lacto-vegetarian, but fish or seafood isn't one of the options.
