Wooking was almost right......except that Pinar del Rio is in the Vuelta ABAJO.

The cuban versions, available to the entire world except the US, are made in different "fabricas" in Cuba. Lately, the main Romeo factory closed in La Havana, and will be relocated a bit further.

The version available in the US (distibuted by Altadis USA), is made in Dominican Republic......and has totally no interest when you know the cuban versions....

It depends on which one you are refering to.

Altadis bought the rights to the name and they are made in the Dominican Republic.

However the original is made in Cuba in the provence ofV uelta Arriba (Pinar del Rio). They have ben making them there since 1875.
