Not sure about the sauce but teppanyaki is broken down into teppan which means iron plate and yaki which means grilled.

The teppanyaki houses that i have been to serve up a hot mustard sauce which is greyish brown in color for your seafood and steak or they also serve up a ginger sauce for meat and poultry.

a decade later, you've possibly figured it out by now. However, I'm going to share the basic idea with you. It is Siracha sauce (also known as rooster sauce - can be bought at almost any grocery store), mixed with what appears to be mayonnaise. Then it's topped with Teriyaki glaze which is Teriyaki sauce and brown sugar. You cook the teriyaki sauce and dissolve brown sugar into making it a thicker consistency. Hope this helps if you still were looking.
