My Gov. has just paid £2.95 fo a "King prawn butterfly" from our local Indian take away, it turned out to be one single King prawn and lots of bread crumbs.......

Take it back and tell them to shove it up their ar*e!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Or the more subtle approach, ask them nicely for a few more prawns, tell them about the disappointment you felt when you opened the box and only saw one!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This reminds me of some prawn farms i went passed in Thailand. The guide told us there was one half of the farm for the local area and the other for export. Asked about the export stuff, the guide said the farm managers put colourings in the prawn food to colour the prawn flesh to satisfy western tastes. Made me think.
I guess thats why the are so expensive

Beat the time I got conned. Ordered a prawn cocktail - didn't expect the King prawns just ordinary ones. Came with just 4 King prawns for £3.99. £1. each.

That's really expensive, but not outrageous considering you'd probably pay about 23USD/EURO(approximately) for a pound of King Prawns, which would maybe be about 8 to a pound(USA weight).

I buy by the kilo at North Shields fish quay for £5 large, £3.50 mdium boiled. Also buy 3 large fresh boiled dressed crabs in shell for £7. Don't be ripped off = buy local fresh food
