An old friend of mind made this for me while i was in the military and it was good. It's a guam recipe is there anyone out there that has a recipe for this?

CHICKEN ESTUFAO

1 fryer about 2 lbs,chopped into small pieces
2 cloves garlic,minced
1 cup onions,chopped fine
quarter cup vinegar
half tsp. salt
quarter tsp.black pepper
3t.soy sauce
half cup water
quarter tsp. MSG


Place the bird chunks,garlic,onions,vinegar,salt and
pepper into a bowl and mix well.Drain liquid and
save.Cook bird on high heat for 3 minutes.Reduce
heat.Add soy sauce,water,mSG and reserved
liquid,cover,simmer for 20 minutes,serves 4

1/4 cup vinegar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
3 Tbs soy sauce
1/2 cup water
1/4 tsp MSG (optional)

Place chicken, garlic, onions, vinegar, salt and pepper into a bowl and mix well. Drain liquid and reserve. Cook chicken on high heat for 3 minutes. Reduce heat. Add soy sauce, water, MSG (if desired) and the reserve liquid. Cover, simmer for 20 minutes.

Yield: 4 Servings

After reading the reading the recipes people had posted. They sound alot like adobo. Very good....
