It could be possible that he has it and has no symptoms of it - that happens with 99% of all STDs including HIV initially and people make the mistake of thinking that if you can't see anything that they don't have anything.
Has he been tested before?
Did you go with him to get tested? If not he could just be telling .
Has he been with others?
In men, chlamydia may not cause any symptoms, but symptoms that may occur include: a painful or burning sensation when urinating, an unusual discharge from the penis, swollen or tender testicles, or fever.
How do you get it?
Chlamydia is a venereal disease which is usually transmitted by sexual activity - intercourse AND oral sex. Most STDs including HIV can be transmitted through oral sex.
Ways you can get it:
Semen from the penis, vaginal fluid, and blood can carry the bacteria that causes the infection.
The bacteria can enter the body of a person through contact with these fluids.
The only other way is if you had any open sore at some point and the fluid of another person entered that sore somehow - oral sex perhaps?
Question
Can you get HIV or any other disease by receiving oral sex from a girl, and, if so, could you name the diseases please?
Answer
You cannot get HIV from contact with saliva alone, so insertive oral sex (that is a man receiving oral sex) is safe. The only way insertive oral sex could present some risk is if your sex partner had sufficient amounts of blood in her mouth (from recent dental work or other dental problems for example) and your penis came into direct contact with blood. But you’d hopefully notice if your partner had blood in her mouth.
You can get other sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) from insertive oral sex. The more common ones include gonorrhea, chlamydia, and non-gonococcal urethritis (NGU). These usually can be treated easily with antibiotics. You may also get syphilis (which usually can be treated easily with antibiotics (if identified early enough) and herpes (which can’t be cured but can be treated). A useful table of STDs and associated risks can be found online. It also contains detailed information about each STD.
If you’re a sexually active young man, you should probably get screened at least once a year for STDs. Many STDs do not have symptoms and can go unnoticed. Talk to your doctor about screening for STDs, or, if you are uncomfortable talking with him or her, you can go to a city or county STD clinic.
***BE careful - what if it was herpes, hepatitis,HPV or HIV - all of which never go away. You can even get some of these with use of a condom so make sure you and any partners are tested BEFORE sexual relations.***

I got identified with genital herpes (type 2) about five years ago, when I was still in college and had a foolish one-night stand. I understand a lot of girls will say this, but I swear I had certainly not done that sort of thing before. I just made a massive mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with a girl who has sores around her private parts? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/1SFgo everything improved.
Not only was I able to clear away all remnants of the hsv from my system in less than three weeks, but I was also able to begin dating once more. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just last week, in front of everyone in a packed restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me! This method provided me the opportunity to be happy and experience true love. Now I want to enable you too by sharing this with the whole World.

Chlamydia comes in two way, you can be a carrier or in you case a sufferer.... Men normally do not have any systems and some only carry the desease and pass it on to other and this can sometimes not be detected without a blood test..... Woman who get the desease sometimes do not get any systems or sometimes they get them straight away, you can carry the desease for a year or more without even knowing you have it....
You may have got it from a previous partner or the partner you had last may only be a carrier of the desease.

Most men who are carriers of Chlamydia remain symptom free and need to be treated to prevent the continual passage of this disease. You could have also contracted it from another lover. If your lover has not been tested, he should be. If he has been cleared by a physician, then your previous lovers should be tested and treated if positive. Women are more likely to contract this because of our anatomy. Luckily, this is easily treated and will leave no permanent problems for you if you and your partner are free of it.

In men, chlamydia may produce symptoms similar to those of gonorrhea (discharge from penis or rectum, burning on urination or defecation), and can also cause epididymitis and orchitis. "However, up to 25% of infected men may have no symptoms". Condoms does not protect from skin to skin contact. Hence it is not 100% safe.
Please see the webpages for more details on Chlamydia.

Chlamydia can be silent in your body for many years without showing any symptoms, so if you have had other partners it could be from one of them.
