its got a firm bright pink skin, which u cant eat, inside is the consistency of watermelon except it white with little black hard seeds all through it, very unusual and pretty. THink its asian? Had it in a restaurant once, with lime squeezed over it, was delicious but cant find it anywhere.

Yes. It is the "Flying Dragon" fruit. In Vietnamese, it's called: Thanh Long ... Thanh = Fly and Long = Dragon. It tastes good and it helps alot if you had dried stools (sorry if I used the wrong word). I'm Asian by the way.

I was going to say guava or papaya... but since you said white... I guess everyone else is right. I have never heard of dragon fruit, now I want to try it.

definatley dragonfruit, which is in season in most parts of Asia now.
There are two varieties, one with white flesh, and the other with purple, which is sweeter.
I have never seent it available anywhere in the US.
