Shell, if cannibals consider me food, then I'm food. I just need to run faster. As for vegetarians being better lovers, my wife would disagree. That may be too much information, though.

Finally, how come there's no middle ground between "putrid, rotting flesh" and vegetables? Denying the existence of fresh, clean cuts of meat is to deny reality altogether.

Once a mammal/animal ceases to live, it's body is in a state of decomposition. No matter what stage it's in, it's still "rotting" as soon as the blood/oxygen stops flowing. And flesh-flies like to lay eggs on flesh at any stage of decomposition. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarcophagidae

And what do you mean "not supposed to eat meat" ~ who is saying that? I think most vegetarians hold the belief that you "shouldn't" eat meat which is entirely different. World hunger would be resolved, horrible diseases like mad cow and the asian bird flu would be avoided, and we could have a clear conscience that animals aren't suffering purely for our enjoyment. When ppl say humans aren't designed to eat meat, that's a fact. Our teeth and jaws are more akin to cows and herbivores than carnivorous animals. And our digestive systems are not designed to properly digest meat. Also, those rotting proteins in your system are expelled through your various pores which causes BO, bad breath ETC.....

It isn't it is an animal. Cannibals consider you food.
Does that make you food? The putrid rotting flesh of a dead deseased animal hardly makes your body healthy and strong.
It is shot full of penecilin and can barely stand. Blown up with hormones and insecticides. Soaked in bleech to keep it from killing people who eat it. It has a direct link to cancer, heart disease and diabetes. Adventists who traditionally eat less meat have less of those diseases. There is a reason for that it isn't good for you. Men who eat a lot of meat get a lot of steroids used to pump up the animal and are not as sexually inclined as vegetarians. Vegetarians make great lovers.

Different people like different things. My husband loves meat. I can take it or leave it. Sometimes I enjoy a good steak along with my husband. Usually the next day I serve us a pasta dish. Our marriage would suffer if I became vegan. But I do keep in mind that too much meat isn't good for us.

Who said your not suppose to eat meat?
I choose not to eat meat, just like most people choose to eat it.

I don't want to eat something that was alive just to eat it, and most people just tune that part out and enjoy it :P

I also did it because it can't be healthyer if done the right way, it helped me lose weight :D

And I've recently heard that some people do actually need meat to survive because if they don't their blood cells go to low levels, or they get light headed easily.
Everyone has different dietary needs...

Well, food is anything that contains nourishment. Human flesh was food in many cultures, does that make it right? Or would you like eating cockroaches? Some cultures in Asia do that.

You can choose to eat anything: fruits, vegetables, meat, crap, sand, hair, etc... YOU decide if it's food for YOU or not.
I'm not vegetarian btw.

It's not a "supposed" kind of thing, it's more a personal choice.
