try swimming, walking is best though, you don't have to walk at a marathon speed just, casual to begin with. but swimming will keep your joints from impacting too much.with food carbohydrates are the worst thing for diabetics try balancing your meals though and stay away from potatoes, bananas, starchy foods and bread, if you drink soda change to diet variety, change sugar to fake sugar and drink low fat milk. eat plenty fruit and veges-starchy ones and try snacking on healthy stuff, give yourself 2-3 treat days a week and eventually get to 1 day week, start with the small changes first the rest will come later. most of all don't stress about the food change and the new exercise.embrace it and look forward to the new you.good luck,i bet you will be sexy in no time.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

How tall are you? If your like 6'0 or taller, then thats not really a bad weight. Its the way your thinking about yourself thats hurting your chances at finding a good guy. If you wanna drop some pounds quick try the "Mayo Clinic Heart Diet"....its a 3day on, 3 day off diet. I never could stick to a diet, so I just cut portions of whatever I was eating. I lost about 40 ls. and have kept it off for about a year. Atkins is a good diet for men as well. Diabetics should check with their doctor first......but my best friend went on it and she takes 2 shots a day. It seems to pull the pounds off quicker on men. You cant effectively exercise without straining your body a little bit. The whole point is to raise your heart rate so it will burn calories....and you must raise your heart rate to do that. Try swimming.....its the least restrictive thing I can think of. Its good for your heart as well.

First you must decide what's most important in your life. If you decide that living is most important then you have chosen to get with the program and make significant changes in your life. If you decide that your lifestyle is most important, then you are saying that you don;t want to change anything and it does not matter what we say.

Second, as a diabetic you should already know what you must do. Your doctor should have told you what you need to do. Others, probably, have also told you what you need to do. So, what is holding you back? Being gay has nothing to do with your decision of what to eat, when to eat and how often. It's up to you to decide. I've been there and I made the decision to change my life around. You must do the same if you want to make a real changes.

Third, you have the internet. Search for diabetic meal plans. There are lots of diabetic sites that offer meals, foods, and their food values. Don't ask others when you can do the work yourself.

I started the Rice Diet (www.ricediet) a couple weeks ago, and have had a lot of success in taking the weight off so far. If you're diabetic, it helps with that as well. (I'm diabetic too.)

Talk to a medical professional about appropriate exercises for you. If you have access to a swimming pool, that might be an alternative to walking.

Eat a lot of fruit and vegetables - you can eat more of them on a sheer volume basis and still have the same amount of calories. You will have to do some form of exercise too if you really want to take off the pounds quicker, as this accelerates the metabolism so you will burn calories quicker. Weightlifting and building muscle mass also helps. Avoid the foods that are high in fat - don't even have them in your house.

Hey!
First of all people that mock you, are such insecure people and can i tell you at the end of the day they will feel everything they made others feel!!!

But i can garentee a diet, ATKINS diet! can i tell you i lost 8 Kg's in under a month NO jokes, no exercise either!

My mum lost 20 kg's and is now 52Kg's! she does not excersise or anything!

you can eat as much bacon, eggs, ham, fish, chicken and all meats as much as you want!

But the first 2 weeks you must not have any veg, or fruit and NO carbos!!!!

These first 2 weeks are the "induction" phase, where your body is basically reaching normal sugar levels and speeding up you metabolism!

every day you must drink 2L of water just to keep your kidney's healthy!

After the first 2 weeks you can slowly introduce veg and fruit, but i promise you after the first week you will DEF notice and most importantly feel a difference!

Here's an example of meals"

Breakfast: 2 eggs and bacon
Snack: 3 pieces of ham
lunch: tuna, chicken, fish
Snack: and egg or sausage
Dinner: as much steak or gammon or fish or chicken as you want!

But no sugar, or coffee, cause the caffine affects your sugar levels!

There is a book on the atkins diet, i promise you i have seen the results with my own eyes!

Go for IT!!!!

Not sure if you are on insulin or not, but when i found out I had t1 at 26 i gained 100lbs. You do know insulin stores fat. I recently started on Symlin, it is an injection which helps you use less insulin so far I have lost some weight. I know a lot of people who have lost a bunch on it.
