Last year I was taking 160mg of lasix per day but my kidneys died out and now I am on dialysis, not from the lasix but from the diabetes & heart failure. I so wish I was just on lasix again.

You want to take the LEAST amount possibe to get the correct effect. You also should be drinking less liquids and more water to filter out the kidneys as much as possible.
Good Luck

It really depends on the condition for which you are being treated. The typical dosage for Lasix could be anywhere from 20 mg to 80 mg. But it could also be less or more in unusual situations. Your doctor should explain how much and why. If not, ask.
