A Philippino delicacy called Balut (bah loot'). It is a duck egg that has developed until it is about halfway along (supposedly best when the feathers are just starting to form). Then it is fermented and boiled. Eat it like a hard-boiled egg. What can I say? I was a young, drunk sailor at the time.

sauerkraut juice, like a big tall glass of it. i love sauerkraut itself, especially with kielbasa and mashed potatoes...but i decided to drink a glass of it, just to show off. i kept it down, but i don't think i'll do that ever again! ;-)

Snails and Frogs... When I was in Philippines we had to stay in my auntie's house and she served us Snails (in Tagalog..su-so) and there was one restaurant in Philippines that serves frogs and my family order that... yuck. lol
