No, and you don't really outgrow it. Symptoms may subside when you get in your teens or twenties, but when you get older they often return - sometimes worse than before. There are some natural products that can relieve the symptoms of an attack, but I would not bet my life on something that has no scientific data to back it up. People still die from asthma, and symptoms should be taken seriously.

sorry, but nothing can cure asthma -- as in make it go away... but there are alternatives that can be done to increase your tolerance for the disease itself.
my sister had a bad case of asthma when it comes to dust, something that we cannot avoid. what we did was we brought her to a highly respected allergist (very popular) and he "desensitized" her (meaning decrease sensitivity -- to allergens that triggers her asthma). for weeks, the doctor would inject something in her (a chemical substance that resembles the chemical make-up of a dust). this would trigger her asthma, so this was followed by a nebulizer therapy. as the weeks go by, her tolerance for this chemical (dust) increases. so the doctor injects a bigger dosage on her -- over and over, increasing the dosage over time -- until she is almost insensitive to dust -- and this helped her a lot. there are other allergens that still triggers her asthma, but dust is no longer one of them.
