If the person Burps adn they say xcuse it was just an accident, so no blame for that, it could happen to anyone, if they burp, and you see they did it on purpose, that is just rude, then you can call them a pig if you want to

If it is someone you know or one of your kids and you are trying to encourage manners, you can adknowledge it with 'youre excused' but anyone else a nod or a glance is fine.

My parents taught me to say "certainly" when someone says "excuse me" after burping.

I always say, "GOD Bless You", but it's just a joke. It always gets a laugh and makes light of the situation.
