You may have Hayfever instead of a cold. I had the same problem. I took medicine prescribed to help ease cold symptums, then a friend suggested i might have an allergy, i tried antihistamine tablets and to my utter amazement my 5 year cold vanished within 2 days.
Consult a doctor for the best advice though, i would not trust medical advice on Answers to be honest.
No offence intended.

yes, nasal spur deviation can lead to frequent cold, but nearly 85 percent of human population seems to have slight deviation in their nose[cartilage] but only a few show symptoms whereas others are normal.I have the same problem, but allergy can also contribute to this problem. It can also cause migraines.I take antihistamines.Doctors may advise surgery but i dont know how successful it would be.Cardio vascular exercises can help.Contact a good ent surgeon and get an endoscopy done.If you get cured of this condition please send me an email on how
you got cured.

If you have a cold for that long a time, it is only the result of an opportunistic bacterial indection following tthe cold..Suggesting your resistance is low.. Whether an immune system deficiency or not enough stored in your reserve, remains to be determined. I have a deviated septum but don't get colds.

You can prevent colds simply by taking 1000 mg of Vitamin C per day. If that isn't 100% successful, increase it to 1500 mg.

Try antihistamines, if they help significantly then its probably allergies and not colds then you should go to an allergist to find the source of your problem.

Go to your local health food store and get a Neti pot to wash out your sinuses. It makes a huge difference and it is very easy to use.
