She can't be mad at his ex. The only person she can really be mad at is herself and him.
She should be upset at herself because she should have known better to have unprotected sex with him.
And she has the right to be mad at him because he gave her the STD, regardless of where he got it from. But, if she would have insisted he wore a condom then this all might have been prevented, so again it falls back to her.
I got 2 incurable STDs from a guy I had slept with ONE time over 5 years ago. I was pissed at the guy, but then again I could have prevented it all if I had insisted he wore a condom. So, when it all comes down, it was my fault, and I have accepted it.
The only person she can really blame is herself unfortunately. Hopefully your friend got a bacterial STD which can be cured rather than a viral STD, which can not be cured. Best wishes!

I think she is equally to be blamed. Unprotected sex is a consious decision. And now that your friend has got a STD she cannot blame the guy. Thought it was not right on the part of the boyfriend if he knew that he had the disease and didnt tell her about it.
Important thing is take the treatment and learn from the mistake. Dont do it again.

she should be mad all everyone involved, herself included for having unprotected sex from someone she just started dating! mad at the boyfriend if he knew he had it, and didn't tell her and that's what caused the std. and, of course the ex if she knew she had...so on, and so on.
but, the important thing to do now is to get treatment for this and learn from the experience!!!

She has no rights to be mad at anyone except herself for being silly enough to have unprotected sex how does she know it wasn't her who gave it to her lover.

I don't think she has a right to be mad in the first place. Unless she knows who gave the STD to her boyfriend, she has no right to be pointing fingers.

I think she should be mad at the boyfriend for giving it to her, but more over, she should be upset with herself for being willing to have unprotected sex!

No she has no right to be mad at any one but herself! She is the one who decided NOT to protect herself. Personal responsibility, she should try it.
