at age 56 I was put on social security disabiltiy. My check is very small. My husband is 75 and collects his own social benefits. When would I become elidgeable to draw from his social and what is the percent of the cut on the check?

Call your local Social Security Office for the correct information

Because his is higher, you can collect off of his account right now since you are receiving disability benefits. You will get approx 75% of what he gets. Just call your local Social Security office and make an appointment to talk with a case worker.

Yes indeed you are elidgeable to draw from his SS..i dont know your figures so i dont know the amount you'd get. :)
