You really should have taken the medication EXACTLY how it was prescribed. If a person doesn't take it how it was prescribe the bacteria might not have been killed. A lot of people will also stop taking the medication when the symptoms stop, this is also a REALLY bad idea. The symptoms might have disappeared but the bacteria can still be alive come back later.

You might have gotten a yeast infection from the medication. A lot of times antibiotics will cause a women and sometimes men to get a yeast infection.

It's probably a good idea to go to the doctor and get it checked out, especially since you have an itch. Good luck!

I suggest you return to the STD clinic or the doctor that prescribed your original medication for the condition. You should take the medication as directed. If you did not, as you say, it is possible that you did not kill all of the bacteria that caused you the infection in the first place, and it has come back to re-infect you. You may need an even stronger round of anti biotics this time, as when you are re-infected or have a recurrance due to incomplete therapy, the bacteria become resistant and harder to kill the second time around. Take the medication as directed, and no more sexual contact until you are re-tested. This is how diseases get spread in the first place.

Just go back to the doctor's,sometimes they might haf to give you stronger meds, and take the medicine like your suppose to this time. It's to strong for you probably because you're not eating when you take this medicine and you have to eat first because it's an antibiodic, and they have a tendency of pulling your stomach, making you feel quezzy on an emoty stomach.
