I am still trying to come to grips that I gotten herpes simplex 2 in April, my partner tells me he was not unfaithful. So how did I get this

Does it really matter how you got it? The fact is, you do. If you don't know your partner well enough to know if he's lying, you don't know him well enough to have sex with him.

If you didn't cheat then most likely your partner did, even if denies it. If you have only been together a few months then he may have got it from a previous partner, but if you have been together for years he probably cheated.
I have had herpes simplex virus 2 (genital herpes) for over 5 years now. I was diagnosed just after I turned 17.
I'm sure it is coming to you as a complete shock right now, but with time you will be fine. It took me at least 6 months to come to grips with the fact that I have the virus and that I'll have it for life. You will be fine with time. It's up to you whether or not you stay with your partner though, even though they most likely cheated on you.

Was your partner tested? Maybe one of you got it from a previous lover. Most people that have herpes don't even know it. Either way... you've got it and pointing the finger is not going to take it away. My boyfriend gave me herpes simplex 1... I knew he got cold sores (just not until after we'd been having sex). Who knew you could get it from oral sex when there was not an open sore. I know now. Good luck!

Your partner could have been a silent carrier,gotten it from a previous lover, and he could have passed it on to you during asymptomatic viral shedding. Is your partner still with you? Is he going to stay with you. I know that it is a hard thing to absorb that you have it. Millions of other people do to. It isn't the end of the world, especially if you are married or are going to marry this guy.

well are you shur he didnt cheat on you? the first key for me would be be to get a lie detector test they are only about 50.00 at your local polica station well around they are. or you can go online for fbi testing and it will tell you who to go to...
unless your a drug user there is no other way to get herpes, did he give anyone oral? it can spread through the mouth, so if he kissed someone who had an open sore on there mouth or inside there mouth he could have got it....
if someone had an open cut on them and you had an open cut on you and they carried herpes you can catch it that way also.
there ar emany different ways besides sex.
good luck and how do you know for shur he didnt mess around on you? does he still want to be with you? did he go to the doc to??

well you have 2 choices... either you have it scince your were born and doesn't know (transmitted from your mother) or you got it from your friend!!!
