Genital Warts:
Genital warts (also known as venereal warts) are caused by a virus, the human papillomavirus (HPV).
Warts are found on or around the penis, anus or vagina.
They are small lumps which have an irregular cauliflower-like surface.
The colour and shape vary depending on their location. Sometimes the warts cause irritation and itching.
Genital warts are a serious health concern as certain types of HPV have been associated with cervical cancer.
However, most women infected with genital warts do not have the strains of HPV that give rise to cervical cancer.
Genital warts often disappear even without treatment. However, there are a range of drug treatments.
Small warts can also be removed by freezing, burning or using laser treatment.
Occasionally, surgery is used to remove larger warts.

It is best to go to a doctor to either have something like ALDARA prescribed or have them removed, which ever you decide and the doctor recommends.

I went to the doctor, got ALDARA , I've been using it for almost 2 weeks now and they haven't gotten worse but haven't cleared yet, but it takes time ofcourse.

You don't know how the genital warts will go on their own so it's best and safer to get them treated.

I'm not sure, but I do know that genital warts are caused by a virus, HPV, and that they will never be completely gone. Shop around and be sure to ask your doctor.

Gential Warts are with you for the rest of your life.....you can get medication to slow down the flare ups and you can get the warts frozen off. And you can also catch genital warts with a condom on too!

No do not try to remove them at home.. if you need to go to a family planning clinic. they will not charge you nothing and they usually use acid to get rid of them with no insurance.. if you have insurance then you can get the cream or them freeze off. or even laser surgery to remove them. but whatever you do. do not use that home wart remover because it just makes them sore and worse!

Don't worry about it.
They will most likely go away on there own. Your body will fight off the virus naturally in about 5yrs. They are quite common and nothing to worry about.
Almost every sexually active woman in the country has H.P.V.
It is NOT herpes. Do not get them confused.
Topo treatments are not recomended for HPV. Talk to your DR.

the only thing i can say is NO they will have to go away on there own, which can take 2 months to 10 years. its very hard to tell. the doc can freeze them off or burn them off and some doctors even use acid.

sorry you have them

Condolax (s/p) is another drug a doc will r/x.

It will "burn" them off. To stress what others are saying, the key is that you have now been exposed to HPV, which can cause cervical cancer.
