After intercourse today, I had small red bumps on the head of my penis. They are very small, have no discharge coming from them, and they itch slightly after intercourse, but the itching goes away. This happened a few weeks ago, and I went to the doctor and was given a cream and it went away. I was tested for STDs, but they messed up on my test and didn't test me for everything. My girlfriend, who is the only partner I have ever had, has been tested on multiple occasions, and always was clean. I think that it is irritation, because she usually isn't wet when we start having intercourse, so there is a lot of uncomfortable rubbing. Do you think this is an STD, a yeast infection(she doesn't have one), or just irritation?

It sounds more like irritation. It's probably from the friction of your penis going in and out of your girlfriends vagina, especially since you said it's not very wet or lubricated.

What kind of cream were you given? If you would have said I would have been able to tell you what it probably is.

A lot of people on here are saying herpes. If it was herpes you would have large sores on your penis and be in A LOT of pain. I have had genital herpes for over 5 years and this does NOT sound like genital herpes. A lot of people jump to conclusions when they hear "red bumps". They automatically think herpes, when it's usually not.

You may want to go back to the doctor if this doesn't clear up in a few days. Good luck to you!

I'm not sure if this is a joke, but I'll take it seriously. It could be a lot of things. If it doesn't itch or burn and appears to be under the skin, it's likely burst capillaries--these are normal after rough intercourse. If they do itch, ask your doctor to get you a blood test for herpes 2. Small red bumps are pretty trademark for herpes 2. It could also be a multitude of other things... If you can't afford to go to a doctor, there are plenty of public health clinics that offer free STD testing in the United States. Planned Parenthood is one such organization of clinics. Definitely get yourself checked out if it doesn't go away, gets worse, or starts itching/burning in a week. Edit: Also note that it's impossible to diagnose something via internet without closeup shots of the abnormalities or lesions in question--I'm not asking you for them, I'm just saying, I could likely be wrong because I haven't seen them or anything. I strongly advise you to consult your physician.

I was in the medical profession for thirteen years and I will tell you that if you didn't use a condom you could be having an allergic reaction to your fluids and your girlfriends fluid being combined. Strange I know but some peoples chemical chemistry can't mix.

Get tested again but it could be a rash from the condom you need to check with your doctor and ask him or her if you can use a nothing brand of condom like lamb skin or something like that because you really do need protected

Oh yes use a bigger condom it could help like large all condom doesn't fit all man some need to use large

I just took a health class about 3 months ago, and I think it's STDs. But I think you should go get it checked out by the doctor just to make sure. Take care.

It sounds like Contact Dermatitis...just a little skin reaction. Get yourself checked for all STD's to be sure.
