I am not so concerned with HIV - there are many more dangers out there. Do a search on the Padian study.

Nevertheless, after getting a positive result on the **non-specific** alleged HIV anti-body test (they dont test for HIV) and then eliminating the 75 other conditions that will cross react with the test, you will find that someone who tests positive does not share the same interests as me - I am not an IV drug user, crack or meth head, like about 95% of the people that test positive and do not have the 75 other conditions.

I would definately date a man who was HIV positive as long as we had a great time at conversation.....(i love a good conversation).

There are other ways to explore the human need for sex without the risk of transmission, but I would also have to be in like first, love second before that would take place.

Since I also have an incurable disease and I know what it feels like to have someone tell you they don't want to see you because of your disease I have chosen not to date any one. Having a disease doesn't mean you are not a human being anymore. Everyone at some time in there life wants acceptance but to be honest it is in short simple in this world. So, whoever has any disease that can be fatal and for those who don't, you never know what hand you are going to be dealt, so look at the person, not the disease.

An HIV diagnosis doesn't change who the person is. It doesn't define them. If they are what I was looking for, then it wouldn't matter.

Yes I would date someone with the disease. I would not have any sort of sexual relations with them though. That would be too dangerous. I wouldn't want to catch the disease. There is no reason that I couldn't spend my time with them and love them though.

I could be friends with them but couldn't date them. I'm paranoid when it comes to catching STDS. I know that there are ways to protect yourself but even then I wouldn't date someone with an STD.

Yes, but only for love. If I truly believed that that person was the person for me.

yes i would, because most people are ignorant about HIV and that poses a greater threat than knowing all the facts. i had 2 cousins who died of aids. when we were younger all of us (large family) played together ate together, took baths together(no we are not gay) but when the family found out they had aids no one came to visit except my brother and myself. we took them out, we drove around, we ate together until their end came. you can not contract aids just going out with some one, please remember that ok.
