yes medication was given, insulin and avaidis or something close to that name, was told go visit doc. never being discharged which was around 5/04, never did and discontinued the medication in that year. the visit was to see which medicine he should stay on or discontinue

Not sure what your question is.
Is your husband a type 1 (insulin insufficient) diabetic? If so he may need insulin regularly in order to keep his weight under control.
He would never be able to be discharged if he has diabetes, because the doctor needs to have regular follow-up.
