In the South (US) we make something called 'chow-chow'. It is a mixture of garden vegetables chopped fine and hot peppers are added as well. It is normally pickled in a sweet brine and it is GOOD. I'll bet I would like the Trinidad version of 'chow' too.

I grew up in Miami. Now I live in Gulfport, Mississippi. We like 'chow-chow' here a lot.

My father was raised on the east coast and used to make a green tomato chow similar to the one on this site. Hope you enjoy it.

Nope, but it sounds like it would taste good with some grilled fish.
