Pepperoni Pizza is one of the most famous pizzas in the world.
It's made with a thin bread crust and on the top is a thin layer of tomato sauce with shredded mozzerella cheese. The pepperoni sausage is sliced thin and scattered all over the top. The sausage has a red hot pepper flavor and also a slight smokey flavor. The pizza is then ready to put into a very hot oven until the crust is golden brown and the cheese has melted....YUM YUM.....

It's pizza with tomato sauce, cheese and peperoni. Peperoni is a thin cut meat made out of spiced sausage. You've never tried it?

There's an interesting thing about this pizza. I took an Italian friend to Pizza Hut here in the US & she decided to try the pepperoni pizza. When she ordered it and saw the pizza, she got the shock of her life! She explained to me that Pepperoni is the name for a pizza in Italy, which is made of cheese, tomato sauce, vegetables (olives, capsicum, onions etc.) and pepper!! She said that she had never tasted a Pepperoni pizza with sausage slices on it (which turns out to be very common in America).
So, in short, Pepperoni pizza:
in Italy (and India too): Vegetables' pizza with cheese & pepper
in USA & Canada: Cheese pizza with sausage slices
P.S. Be aware of this, especially if you are vegetarian

Pepperoni is a hard reddish sausage that is often spicy. Pepperoni pizza is a cheese pizza (flat bread, spiced tomatoe sauce, cheese) topped with thin slices of pepperoni. Enjoy!!

Pepperoni pizza is very common in the U.S. It is pizza made with round, sliced sausages as a topping. Many children like it because there are no vegetables.

ahahah... I'm Italian too and i though too that Pepperoni were peppers(in Italian peppers is said peperoni)... but this kind of pizza is very famous in Italy too, but it's called (if sausage is hot) Diavola (means devil).

what???? Pizza is a crust with sauce and cheese, and pepperoni is a hard spicy sausage thinly cut and baked on top to add grease and texture and flavor
