This is really easy, tastie and great addition to your table.
1 lb bacon (preferably with a sweet cure)
2 containers whole water chestnuts
French's Mustard (to taste)
tooth picks
Cut bacon strips in half, wrap around water chestnut and fasten with a toothpick.
Glaze with mustard and place under broiler until bacon is golden brown and crunchy. Remove from heat, blot grease and serve (with or without toothpicks). Takes about 15-20 minutes total prep/cook time.
This recipe is also great with shrimp instead of water chestnuts.
Enjoy!!

Well I would recommend a vegetable tray to add a little balance, otherwise it sounds good. Perhaps some chips and dips, popcorn, or pretzels.

Wrap balls of canteloupe and honey dew melon in prosciutto (Italian ham). I had that at a wedding this weekend...so good! Or stuffed mushrooms are always good.
