i love it and dont know why. is it genetic. it cant be cause i hate fried chicken.

Ha! Well, I can not really say, but, will tell you of a friend of mine. He moved up North and his boss invited him and his wife to supper. The man had Fried Chicken and Watermelon. He was saying to me; "I hate fried chicken and watermelon"! But, we had a good laugh how people stereotype others. Now me, I am a White Cracker, and, I love fried chicken and watermelon. ;-)

I dont know why that is but I have a funny little story to go with your question. You probably dont care but i am gonna tell ya anyway. A few yrs ago there was a little biracial girl who lived next door to me and she was eating a piece of watermelon and she said she loved watermelon and then she turned around and looked at me and said 'and its not because I'm black' I thought it was pretty funny and cute. She was only about 6 or 7 at the time

Don't succumb to the stereotypes of black people. Not all black people like watermelon, fried chicken and many of the other things that people say we do.

one that is a very racist question to ask. i hate watermelon and think fried chicken is OK(sometimes) (btw I'm not telling u my race so u cant go stereotyping me) of course its not genetic,you idiot!
having blue eyes or brown hair is genetic loving watermelon is not!

I always wondered why peole say that? But I like Watermelon alot but only if you get a sweet one. Fried chicken also. What do they say about White people?

Yes, some things are genetic. Like, Mexicans like tacos, and Italians like pasta. It can't all be attributed to genes but with your own personal choice of food. Some people like seafood and others don't. Why? Because of the taste buds being different.
Btw, I'm white and I love watermelon and fried chicken. But, behind every stereotype, there is some truth.

Because it is one good fruit! I can't understand how any one can hate fried chicken. My husband does and it makes me sad because it is one of my favorite foods!
