I don't know how authentic this is, but its tastes right to me:
Sugar (Maybe 1/3 Cup)
Rice Vinegar (1/3 Cup)
Ketchup (2-3 good squirts)
Pineapple Juice (1/8 Cup)
Red Pepper Flakes (to your taste if you want a little heat in it)
Garlic Powder

Heat the Sugar and the Vinegar in a saucepan until the sugar dissolves. Add the other ingredients a little at a time. The measurements aren't exact, you have to keep tasting to adjust it to your taste. I use this for my sweet and sour chicken/pork and it tastes just like my favorite Cantonese restaurant.
