There are many items that offer protein without being part of an animal, such as beans, tofu, peanut butter, etc.

I look up the word vegan on the Internet and it said it is a strict vegetarian someone who eats no animals or dairy products.
So they probable get protein for some kind of fruit or vegetables.
and a vegetarian is One who practices vegetarianism.

Vegetarian is no meat - pork, chicken(to most), fish (to some), lamb, etc.
Vegan means that they don't eat anything that coems from animals/no animal products - aka eggs (coem from chickens), no dairy products like buttter, milk, cheese (from cows/goats), etc.

There are no meat products at all.
We get our proteins from Dairy milk, beans, pulses, lentils, luttuce,etc.
