Drink protein shakes (if you get the right kinds they actually taste pretty good) and eat a lot of other vegitarian things that contain protein. THey're not that hard to find. Just Google vegitarian (or vegan) foods.

RE: can being a vegetarian make you loose weight? nicely i in my opinion dont like the way i glance and that i choose to loose alot of weight so will transforming into a vegetarian help me loose some weight

Protein gives you energy. If you drop protein you'll have less energy and will sit around doing nothing, gaining weight. Talk to you doctor before beginning a vegetarian diet.
Vegetarians aren't always the healthiest people though. If I can't find any quick vegetarian meals, I'll just grab something with no meat like chips. I haven't lost weight, but being vegetarian helps me keep it down.

I gained about 15 lbs when I became a vegetarian at 16. I didn't realize that my hatred for meat was effecting how I ate so much! You might try it for awhile and see how it effects your weight. Also, don't forget you can still eat french fries, and if you're not a vegan you can eat lots of greasy cheese pizza!

You shouldn't have any problems if you replace the meat in your diet with beans and carbs and if you eat a lot of fruit. I lost about five pounds when I went vegetarian, but I gained it back in a few weeks.

I've been a vegetarian since i was 6 and i'm now 19, so i dont really know for sure. Carbs are what keeps me going though, and what keeps me from losing too much weight! that and cheese. cheese will become your best friend.

theres no way to stop loosing weightbut i kept some on by eating 3 serving of nuts a day
either way i lost about 3lbs
but no one will notice dont worry
well they did on me cause i was already thin
but thats up to you
you make the choice
