i was just wondering if vegan sour cream existed, cause i love it but can't have it for moral reasons.

I have seen it at a health food store - the brand name is "Tofutti." They make a lot of tofu products which are traditionally made with cultured milk.

I believe it does. Also there is IMO, an imitation sour cream, but not sure if there's any dairy in it. I have a recipe for dairy free ranch dressing on my web site if your interested at http://www.yummyfood.net

I can understand completely someone having moral reasons for not wanting to kill or hurt animals. Using dairy products does not kill or hurt animals in any way, so it is difficult for me to understand how there can be any moral argument for avoiding dairy products. There are other arguments against dairy products that aren't based on morality, but you might want to consider loosening up a bit and allowing eggs and dairy back into your diet.
