Just make it a girls' night out, with drinks and stuff. Then just mention that the event doubles as a tastefully simple party for those of your guests who are interested. I'll leave the wording up to you though. Have fun!

The word "Tastefully" doesn't really go with "e-vite". And everyone HATES getting invited to that kind of thing--they'll go as a favor to you, and maybe buy something small to be polite. If you really just want everyone to have fun, then don't try to sell them anything.

Be sure to include the old who, what, where, when, why and any dress code. Don't over think it let yourself get all uptight. Relax, have fun and communicate same to your guests. Do as much 'prep' work ahead as you can so you can enjoy the evening. You are supposed to be with your guests not slaving away elsewhere. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!

Hand deliver the invites with an appetizer that you will be serving at the party. Put it in a cute bag or folded paper container that is the color of your theme. Have fun!
