If good cheese comes from happy cows then why are so many of them tortured?

that's quite possibly the best question i've seen on here...
and i'd say that's probably why there is no such thing as good cheese
i think making cows loose a baby every year just to get their milk (not for us!!) is disgusting in itself, nevermind the other crap they do to them. but milk is "so good for us" and "so yummy", i doubt that'll stop any time soon.

I don't know. It's a sick, sad mass consumer world where they hurt animals just to get cheese. And it's not even good cheese (since it certainly ain't from happy cows.)

Funny I have lived in Wisconsin most all of my life and have never seen a cow tortured. I commend you for being a vegan. I will go to your other question about tofu recipes and give you a great one I learned to cook in China.

But please get off the tortured animal crap. It is your choice to be vegan and you have that right. I live for meat and love tons of vegetables with my meals. That is my choice. I would never ridicule you or say stupid crap like plants are alive and scream when they are torn out of the ground. Say your a terrorist that kills and tortures innocent plants or any crap like that. Plants are just as alive as any cow, chicken or deer. Whatever creator we believe in put them here for us to eat. Please do what you do and don't judge others or terrorize us because you made a choice for living a particular life style.
