I've never heard of eplantia, but I have heard of eclampsia. Eclampsia is a toxic condition experienced during pregnancy where the mother experiences very high blood pressure and siezures. The cause is unknown, but it is more common in teen pregnancies, first time pregnacies and new mothers whose mothers also had it.

Close medical supervision is extremely necessary.
