Are you talking about Jujy fruit Candy? That Candy is the bomb...it is chewy and can mess up your teeth if you are not careful, but it taste so good. It comes in the lil yellow box or big box they sell them in grocery stores in the candy section or you can buy them at the movies at the concession stand. Farley's & Sather's, Jujy Fruits

Sold in movie counters, it pre-dates gummy worms and is a chewy candy in fruit flavors, molded into different shapes: round (looks like a Jello mold), banana, etc.
