See a doctor and if you are allowed sessions alone with the doctor talk about how the mental status and emotional things around you affect your health. I did this for a while as a child and I had to work laxatives until I got off of them to a natural use.
The asthma can be helped with inhailers or OTC after the doctor rules you have it. Use prescriptions of course. Get a follow up and try to exercise and watch what you eat. You know I got sick over school the bills and my parents woes with every part of their illness not to mention my sister and her kids. Relax other people are making you SICK Now I just sit back and relax and I am nearly better.... Let them handle it.

Your mom's first priority in life should be her kids!! And for her to complain about something worse that's going on in her life is totally unacceptable. You've already tried telling her and obviously she doesn't care. Go to your Dad or some other member of your family and tell them that you are in need of medical attention. I suffer from horrible allergies which turned into asthma overnight and it's no fun. Your Mom needs to get off her pitty pot and do what she's supposed to do and take you to the doctor.

Are you too young to go to the doctor by yourself? How about telling the school nurse? Your mom could get into trouble for not getting you medical treatment if you are really in need. Can you tell your dad? Or another relative? m

Sorry, but I think your mom is horrible for not listening to your needs. That's what she's there for anyway..to help you and take care of you and your helath. But, besides the point...depending on your age, if she just won't help you with your illness, you could possibly explain your problem to the school nurse or counselor, and they could probably get you some kind of help either with or without your mom's permission..not sure but, it's worth a try.. you shouldn't have to suffer, just because your mom THINKS her problems are worse than yours. Please ask someone at school. hope this helps. :)

If you can go to another member of your family such as an aunt tell her about your problems . she may be concerned enough to tell your mother . sounds as if your mother is more concerned about her self than you. and maybe your aunt will listen enough and take you to a Dr.
