The Doctor says I need to take medication to reduce the sugars in my bad colestrol ,it is over 400 and suppose to be 200
Although my actual blood sugar level was only 120
They said if I don't take the Meds. I am in risk of a Heart Attack.
QUESTION:
How long if I don't take the Meds would a heart attack come about..?

There's no way to say on this date you're going to fall over dead. But 400 is pretty high, I'd get in to the doctor for a prescription and change your eating habits.
Good luck.

think of the blood vessel as a pipe which has narrowed because of the high blood sugar levels and the high levels of fat aref slowing down the blood which is already struggling to get through;the end product of this is a heart attack with some heart muscle tissue dying and then the heart muscle beign unable ot clear the lungs of fluid which means you drown slowly in your own fluids which was in fact the cause of death in crucifixion-the condition known as congestive heart failure
even if you cannot change your diet and lower your blood sugar and blood fats you can improve your chances of survival by using asporin to thin the blood to improve the flow and an anti cholesteroll drug to reduce the blood fats;there are some side effects but only in some ppl
how long? you could bully your doctor into stiching a catheter into a vein to have a look possibly-i would say that you are pulling the trigger twice on a chamber loaded with two rounds
the effect of a right side stroke is paralysis down the left side of the body and sluured speech and there is no guarantee of recovery and its all totally avoidable wiht a few dietary changes oand a pill or two
think about and not too long

An exact time is impossible, but a cholesterol level of 400mg% is a dangerous level, and an occlusion of a brain or heart artery could occur at any time. Start the medication and good diet low in fat.

GOOD LORD !!! You are lucky you haven't had a stroke or a heart attack from clogged arteries! Those meds work great and I suggest you get on them ASAP along with 1 asprin a day to think your blood. You also need to change your diet. You're getting way too much fat from somewhere. Processed foods? Fried? Go see a nutritionist at your hospital/doctors office who can help you with portion control and understand what saturated fats are (they are fat that stays solid at room temp) and where they come from. PLEASE get some help before it's too late. You really need it. God Bless.

I believe it is a combination of medication and good eating habits. You should stop eating sugar, any types of bread, cereal, no rice, no red meat, no fats. I had bad colesterol and the level just went down with diet. Take care of yourself, you"ll be ok! ;)

What a foolish question. Just take the medication. Why go to the doctor if you're going to second guess him by asking strangers on the internet about your condition?

First, you don't reduce the sugars in your cholesterol. You reduce the sugars in your blood. Your cholesterol is very high, but no one can predict how long it would be before you had a heart attack.

you seriously have your blood sugar mixed up with your cholesterol level. If that is your actual cholesterol level then you are on the verge of a heart attack. No kidding!
