Rocket is the Italian name for ARUGULA & it's wonderful. It is a yummy peppery flavored green leaf. It can be eaten both cooked & raw. In it's cooked form, you can use it much like spinach & substitute it for any recipe that calls for spinach leaves.
It is great in salads esp if you mellow it's flavor by adding something to balance out the "peppery -ness" such as goat cheese, green apples, cranberries, mandarin oranges...

Rocket is a peppery salad leaf. If you have a pot or a bit of ground you can grow some quite easily. It is very nice and can be used in salads to add some variety. It may be used as a garnish but it is great with tomatoes, mozzarella and basil for example

all i can think of is a salad decorated with rocket leaf salad,a kind of lettuce
