There's tons of pizza places in CT, probably more than any other kind of restaurant. In Cheshire we have Mr. B's, Rossini's, and Cheshire Pizza, among others. In Norwich there's Asylum Pizza, Anthony's, and Papa Gino's. Those are just the good places I know of; there's any number of so-so places (like Pizza Slut, er, Hut and Domino's) and probably dozens of great family pizza joints known only to the locals. Ask around where you live, the people there should know where the good pizza is.

Youre oven!

Simple pizza dough :

1 cup warm water
3 cups flour
1 envelope (8g) Dry active yeast
Table spoon olive oil
Tablespoon honey
pinch of salt

combine water honey and olive oil sprinkle yeast on top. Let stand for 10 min , until theres a foam on top. Combine flour 1/4 cup at a time(and the salt in the first 1/4 cup. knead for 3-4 min. Put a little olive oil in a bowl , put the dough and cover with plastic wrap. Leave it covered with a towel for an 90 min. Cut in half roll out and add ur fav toppings. Its even better if you cookit on a pizza stone (you can buy one at and kitchen store for cheap)

Swirly is right!
I am German and I used to live in New Haven for 5 yeras.
I still remember Pepe's Pizza!!!
Here in Germany, I have a lot of italian friends (I mean REAL ITALIAN, they just moved from Italy to Germany 10 years ago) and I always stay there for dinner: Pepe's pizza comes VERY VERY close to authentic italian style pizza!!!!

You should try it sometimes, and let them know their pizza is being missed in Germany...

New Haven is actually pretty well known for pizza. Try any place in New Haven, or look for a place that advertises itself at New Haven Style.
